Riihimäkeläisen Rtv:n konkurssiuutinen on koskettanut suomalaisia laajasti. Aamuposti koosti yrityksen värikkään historian pääkohdat arkistojuttujen ja tuoreen haastattelun pohjalta. Aamuposti julkaisee alkuvuoden luetuimpia juttuja uudelleen pääsiäisen aikana. Tämä juttu on julkaistu alun perin 10.1.2025.

Muuan nuorukainen Karl Gustav Lindblom (1927–2003) ja ystävänsä Tom Wiiala saapuivat Kemiönsaarelta vuoden 1950 taitteessa Riihimäelle. Pikaisen Helsingin-ajan jälkeen he ostivat yhdessä vuonna 1951 Riihimäeltä pienen maalikaupan entisen omistajan perilliseltä.
