Hietasaaren Seelarin siluetti osuu väkisin pyöräilijän silmiin Pikisaaresta Korkeasaaren sillalle vinssatessa. Oulun Työväenpursiseuran (OTPS) satamassa jo yli sadan vuoden ajan nököttäneen kahvilarakennuksen sisälle on puhallettu hiljattain täysin uutta ilmaa.
– OTPS:n jäsenistön keskuudessa järjestettiin jäsenkysely, jossa Seelariin toivottiin monipuolisia, raikkaita ja nykyaikaisia palveluita. Meidän ajatuksenamme on tehdä Seelarista oululaisten oma, merellinen olohuone, kertoo Go Arctic -elämyspalveluiden liiketoimintajohtaja Sipe Åqvist.
